We’ve made a Pledge to Protect one another, our patients and the community by wearing our masks, washing our hands and physically distancing whenever possible. Beginning Tuesday, October 20, we’re adding another safety measure with the launch of our new online touchless screening process.
With this safe new process, you can answer your daily symptom questions electronically – from your smart phone or PC. You’ll then receive a QR code to scan at one of our new screening stations. Think of it as your personal safety pass. When you scan it, the station identifies you, takes your temperature, and automatically links the two to complete your check-in … safely!
During go-live (Oct. 20- Nov. 3), the screening stations will be placed at these two locations for colleagues who work in the hospital:
- 1-Main hallway (between the 2-East/Main elevators and Patient Registration)
- 1-West (adjacent to the Physicians Dining Room)
Colleagues will be required to stop at one of these locations to complete the check-in process BEFORE reporting to their work area.
If you don’t have a smart phone or PC, simply report to the screening desk at the entrance of the Outpatient Center so one of our screeners can check you in manually.
To give you a better picture of the new screening process, watch the video below.
Screening stations will also be installed at the Plaza, Breast Center, Outpatient Surgery North and Wound, Ostomy and Hyperbarics. If you work at one of these locations, you, too, will also start the new online touchless screening process Tuesday, Oct. 20!
Colleagues at Saint Agnes Care locations will begin the new screening process in the coming weeks. Until then, the current screening process will continue.
More to come…
