Let’s remember our Pledge

November 11, 2020 // Pledge to Protect

As we head into the holiday season, and the weather cools, many of us are reminded of happier times. Trust us, we all want to get back to those days. To keep everyone safe, it’s crucial to continue practicing diligent mask wearing on campus and in the community, physically distancing from those who don’t live in your household and washing your hands frequently.

Emergent blood drive next week

November 4, 2020 // Upcoming Events

The Central California Blood Center is critically low on all blood types. Our blood center services 5 counties and more than 30 hospitals, all of which require blood for life-saving operations and treatments. In order for us at Saint Agnes to continue providing high-quality, compassionate patient care, we need the support of the CCBC and the donations they collect from generous donors. That’s why next Wednesday, November 11, from 7 a.m.-1 p.m., Saint Agnes is hosting an emergent blood drive in Kremen Education Center. This blood drive will be open to the public, so appointments will be required in order to donate.

Get answers to your Open Enrollment questions

November 4, 2020 // From Human Resources

Open enrollment for 2021 benefits is now underway through Nov. 12. If you are benefits eligible and you are happy with your current health coverage, no action is required as your medical, dental, vision, life and LTD elections from 2020 will carry forward to 2021 if you do not make any changes. However, keep in mind that elections for vacation cash-out and flexible spending accounts (both health care and dependent care) do not carry forward automatically, and open enrollment is the only opportunity to elect them each year.

November 4, 2020 // Coronavirus

There have been a lot of questions and concerns from colleagues and from those in our communities about a COVID-19 vaccine – which we know will be important in saving lives and reducing the transmission of the virus. We are listening and want to assure you that we are closely monitoring vaccine development in five of the clinical trials that are further along in the U.S. We are also engaging in distribution planning and supporting related supply chain preparations. However, there is not yet enough information about any specific vaccine to make decisions surrounding use.
