Donate blood to help Valley patients

September 29, 2021 // SAMC

To address our community’s continued blood supply shortage, Saint Agnes is partnering with Central California Blood Center (CCBC) to host a Blood Drive Tuesday, October 5, 7 a.m.-1 p.m. The Bloodmobile will be parked at the Circle Drive near Shehadey Pavilion.

Pandemic-related restrictions have made it extremely difficult to collect blood, causing a nationwide shortage. Here in the Valley, supplies remain extremely low, so please consider donating! All blood products are needed, especially types O+ and O- blood. Plus, anyone who donates will be entered into a raffle for some fabulous fall prizes!

Blood donations are by appointment only. Click here to schedule an appointment.

Please note: According to medical experts, there are no adverse effects to donating blood and getting a flu shot in the same day, if you are planning to get your flu shot on Tuesday, October 5, you can still donate blood – and the order doesn’t matter!
