The 2020 Service Awards are fast approaching. For the 362 colleagues being recognized, we invite you to join us for the first-ever Virtual Service Awards on Thursday, March 11, from 2-2:30 p.m.! Though we can’t gather for the program, we still want to take the opportunity to congratulate you in person. Please stop by the Shehadey Pavilion foyer (on 2-North, near Cyber Café), March 8-10, to pick up your Service Awards gift and other goodies.

Whether you need to bring more veggies to the table, cut down on sweets or find low-fat versions of your favorite dairy products, this March, we invite you to join in the celebration of National Nutrition Month as we all learn how to personalize our plates for healthier eating. During the month of March, the RDs will be sharing weekly videos with the latest nutritional information to help you make smarter eating choices. We will also play a staff game of bingo with new wellness challenges to complete all month long.

Champion in Care nominations are due by Friday, March 5, so don’t miss your chance to honor a special doctor! In honor of National Doctors Day, March 30, we celebrate the incredible work of our physicians and thank them for their dedication to healing body, mind and spirit. What better way to recognize a physician – who goes above and beyond – than by nominating him or her for the Saint Agnes Champion in Care Award.

Our very own, Dr. Gene Egerton, CMO, will be sharing his story this Friday, February 26, at 12 p.m. We encourage you to tune in and share your support for Dr. Egerton and this important mission.

With critical blood shortages still at an all-time high in the Valley, Saint Agnes is partnering with the Central California Blood Center to help collect blood during our final quarterly blood drive on Tuesday, February 2, from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. If you have donated at any of our other quarterly blood drives, please be sure to bring your Blood Donor Card! Anyone who brings a card with three or more stamps will be entered to win a pair of Apple AirPods! Register online to save your spot.
