To address our community’s critical blood supply shortage, Saint Agnes is partnering with Central California Blood Center (CCBC) to host an Emergent Blood Drive Tuesday, July 6, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., in Kremen Education Center (2-North). Blood donations can be made by appointment only. All blood products are needed, especially types O+ and O- blood.

First GME class graduates June 11

It was June 25, 2018, when Saint Agnes welcomed its inaugural class of Internal Medicine residents. After three years of training, nine of these residents will officially graduate from the program during an outdoor ceremony at Saint Agnes, Friday, June 11 at 6 p.m. Special guests, Congressman Jim Costa and Fresno City Mayor Jerry Dyer, will join Saint Agnes leadership and Graduate Medical Education faculty in celebrating the residents.

We invite you to attend this Friday’s Memorial Prayer Service, at 10 a.m., in front of Christ the Healer statue. You can join in-person or via Facebook Live. Also, be sure to check out the 300-plus flags on the hospital’s front lawn, Friday May 28-Monday, May 31. Each one represents the military loved one of a colleague, volunteer, provider or community member. Memorial Day is a time to remember our military and veterans. As a way of honoring our own, all SAMC military colleagues who show their MilVet badge reel in One Main Café will receive a FREE drink any time during Memorial Day Weekend (Friday-Monday).

Join us for Hope & Healing

As an organization, we have lost colleagues, family and friends to COVID-19. As we approach one year since caring for our first COVID-19 patient at Saint Agnes, we want to offer an opportunity for reflection and healing. We invite you to join us for Hope & Healing the evening of March 15, at 8 p.m. The event will take place near the labyrinth in front of the hospital with plenty of room for distancing, or you can join virtually via Facebook Live. More than 350 luminarias will line our circle drive in remembrance of those taken too soon by COVID-19.
