TogetherCare Readiness and Activation on hold

To align with the overall focus and direction of Trinity Health and TogetherCare during the COVID-19 crisis, all Activation and Readiness activities and meetings will remain on hold with no expected date to restart. All Adoption Point Refresh efforts are also delayed. We are also extending the temporary change to the Staying Super program making the 20 monthly hours recommended rather than required. This will remain in effect through May 31.

If you were among the 100-plus Super Users who braved the cold and traveled east to support Michigan’s TogetherCare go-live, THANK YOU! And for those of you who stayed local to keep operations running smoothly, we thank you, too! Regardless of which group you fall into or what role you play in our TogetherCare transformation, Epic is likely top of mind. Fortunately, there has been a lot of systemwide learning from Michigan’s experience, which will benefit future Waves, like ours. While we may not have an answer to everything yet, we want to hear from you so we can do our best to address whatever Epic-related questions or concerns that are on your mind.

Wave 1 is live!

After more than a year of teamwork and determined commitment, TogetherCare is live in Michigan! Last weekend, Trinity Health launched the unified TogetherCare platform for improving patient care – inaugurating the Epic-powered platform that will be the standard for patient care and revenue cycle across the national system. Thank you to our Saint Agnes Super Users who made the journey to Michigan and worked tirelessly to bring Wave 1 live. Thank you to all of our incredible Super Users who have taken on extra training and responsibilities above and beyond their regular duties to help prepare for our TogetherCare go-live. Their commitment and contributions are integral to our success, not only here at Saint Agnes but at our fellow Trinity Health ministry organizations across the country. A number of our Super Users are preparing to go to Michigan to support the Wave 1 go-live, which will begin this Friday, January 24. Our thoughts and prayers are with them for safe travels and an enlightening opportunity.

One of these will be your Super User registration, which must be completed by this Friday, October 4. The last day to register for Epic Super User training is fast approaching – Monday, October 7! To date, just over 90 people have registered, which puts us almost halfway to our target of 211 Super Users. If you were thinking about becoming a Super User but were concerned about the time commitment, you’ll be glad to know it’s been reduced! Now, Super Users are only expected to provide one week of support to an RHM go-live. Additionally, you will provide at-the-elbow support to end users during SAMC’s October 2020 go-live – a very important role!
