On Tuesday, October 5, Saint Agnes, in partnership with the Central California Blood Center, hosted a blood drive to help combat the critical blood shortage in the Central Valley. We had 45 people register to donate blood and collected 38 units! Thanks to our generous donors for supporting Valley patients and for giving the gift of life!

Combatting COVID-19 hospitalizations

Since opening the Outpatient Respiratory Infusion Room (ORIR) in December, we have treated more than 450 patients with mild-to-moderate COVID-19 to great success. In the ORIR, patients receive polyclonal antibody therapy, which mimics the immune system’s ability to fight off viruses. This not only helps improve their symptoms but can keep them out of the hospital. We are so proud of the important work this team is doing and look forward to even more successful results.
