We are thrilled to share that our very own Khrisna Calumpang was selected as the RN of the Year for Excellence in Research by the Nursing Leadership Coalition of the Central San Joaquin Valley. Khrisna’s work as a case manager has become integral not only to her department, but to the complex operations of the Medical Center. We are so proud that her achievements and accolades are being recognized across our community. Way to go, Khrisna!

Saint Agnes is one of 134 hospitals being recognized by California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative (CMQCC) for high-quality maternal care. This year, Saint Agnes was honored to receive the Quality & Sustainability Award for Timely Treatment for Severe Hypertension Rate and the Superstar Award for Large Birth Volume Hospitals. A huge shoutout to Women and Infants Services, Quality, Health Information Management and Information Systems for your hard work that made these awards possible.

Every year since 2009, we’ve presented the Champion in Care award to a physician who demonstrates team spirit and a desire to work collaboratively with Saint Agnes team members, as well as with patients and families, to provide exemplary patient care. We are thrilled to share that this year’s winner is … Dr. Talal Arab! Dr. Arab, an ICU provider, was recognized by his clinical team, highlighting his compassion for patients, teamwork and bedside manner. Congratulations to Dr. Arab and all of this year’s Champion in Care nominees.
