Drive-thru testing for symptomatic colleagues

We have a change in Colleague COVID-19 testing! As of Monday, August 24, symptomatic colleagues who are screened by their manager following our new screening process, will be scheduled for a COVID-19 swab at our new COVID-19 drive-thru testing site. If you are ill and believe you may have COVID-19, are living with someone who is confirmed positive, or have had a high-risk exposure, please contact your manager/supervisor.

Medical Records moving to The Plaza

With the exciting growth of our GME program has come the need for more space to accommodate resident training. So, beginning later this week through September 7, Medical Records (HIM) will vacate its space on the first floor of the Medical Center’s Main Wing (west of the cafeteria) and relocate to the Saint Agnes Administrative Center at The Plaza (1111 E. Spruce Ave.). More parking and easier access make HIM’s move to The Plaza a welcome change for patients and vendors coming to pick up medical records.

Donate blood to help save Valley lives

Since the need for blood donations never ends, Saint Agnes is partnering with the Central California Blood Center to host a quarterly blood drive on Wednesday, September 2, from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. The bloodmobile will be parked on the Circle Drive near the Shehadey Pavilion entrance, but please be sure to stop by Cyber Café to register first. Anyone who donates will be entered into a raffle for three awesome prizes.

Cyber security warning

Recently, some Trinity Health colleagues have been inadvertently approving unsolicited multi-factor authentication (MFA) telephone calls they did not initiate. MFA is one of the Ministry’s most powerful security controls allowing colleagues to safely access the network remotely. MFA prompts colleagues to enter both their Trinity Health password and receive a phone call or text to a number on record to gain access to the network. Because it confirms two pieces of information instead of just using a password, MFA provides an additional layer of security that cyber criminals find difficult to bypass.

It is very important that your contact information is correct within Workday. Saint Agnes wants to ensure that we have the right information for HR communications and in the event of an emergency. By 5 p.m. ET on September 9, please log into Workday and review your primary home address, home phone number (if applicable), cell phone number, personal email address and emergency contacts, and make corrections as needed.
